September 14, 2001Bush Declares Today a Day of Prayer, Remembrance  Thank you for visiting the BBI International site. There will not be any news from around the ethanol industry posted on our site today, instead we ask that you take a moment to remember those lost in the events that unfolded Tuesday, September 11, 2001.
President Bush declared Friday a day of ''prayer and remembrance'' to honor the victims of this week's terror attacks.
''I call on every American family and the family of America to observe a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, honoring the memory of the thousands of victims of these brutal attacks and comforting those who lost loved ones.''
In a proclamation, Bush asked Americans and places of worship to mark the day with noon memorial services, complete with the ringing of bells at that hour, and to hold evening candlelight remembrance vigils.
